Who we are

This website is operated by Shengena Cloud [LEGAL REVIEW: registered legal name, registration number and registered address], Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ("we", "us"). For privacy questions, contact privacy@example.com.

What we collect

When you submit the contact or demo request form, we collect:

  • your name, business email address and organisation;
  • your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
  • the solution you are interested in and the message you write;
  • the date and time of submission and your consent confirmation.

To protect the form from abuse, our systems process your IP address temporarily for rate limiting. IP addresses are not stored with your inquiry. Our hosting and security provider may process technical data such as IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the website.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. [LEGAL REVIEW: update if analytics or the optional Cloudflare Turnstile verification are enabled, as Turnstile processes device and browser signals.]

Why we use it

We use your details only to respond to your inquiry, arrange a consultation or demonstration, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your personal data or use it for unrelated marketing. [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm lawful basis under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania and any other applicable law.]

Who we share it with

We use service providers to host this website and the inquiry service, store inquiries and deliver email notifications. They process data on our instructions. [LEGAL REVIEW: list processors, their locations and any cross-border transfer safeguards.]

How long we keep it

Inquiry records are deleted automatically after a fixed retention period, currently [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm period — the system default is 180 days], unless they become part of an ongoing business relationship or we are required to keep them longer by law.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit, stored in a database that is not publicly accessible, and accessible only to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable, proportionate measures to protect your information.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to its processing. To make a request, email privacy@example.com. [LEGAL REVIEW: add complaint procedure and the relevant supervisory authority.]
