Payroll & workforce
Payroll you can explain, reconcile and audit.
Accurate, repeatable payroll runs with configurable statutory deductions, payslips and the reports finance needs.
Overview
Payroll errors damage trust quickly, and spreadsheet payrolls make errors hard to find.
We build payroll systems with configurable earnings, deductions and statutory rules, approval steps before payment, and clear records of every calculation.
Capabilities
What we deliver
Configurable statutory deductions
Rules for PAYE, social security contributions, SDL, WCF and loan deductions such as HESLB, configured as data so rates can be updated when they change. Rates should be confirmed with your tax or payroll advisor.
Earnings and deductions
Allowances, overtime, bonuses, advances, loans and arrears, with effective dates and approval.
Payroll runs and approvals
Draft, review and approve before finalising, with variance reports that highlight unusual changes.
Payslips and payments
Secure digital payslips and payment files in formats agreed with your banks or payment providers.
Workforce and time
Shifts, rosters, attendance and site allocation feeding directly into pay calculations.
Reports and journals
Statutory schedules, cost-centre reports and payroll journals posted to your accounting system.
Engagement
What you receive
Scope is confirmed in a written proposal after discovery. A typical engagement includes:
- Documented pay rules and statutory configuration
- Parallel payroll runs against your existing process before go-live
- Bank and accounting integration as scoped
- Payroll administrator training and run-book
Common questions
Rates and thresholds are stored as configurable data with effective dates, not hard-coded. When rates change, an administrator updates them and the change applies from the right period.
We run the new system in parallel with your current process for agreed periods and reconcile differences line by line before you switch over.
We build the system so that rules can be configured correctly and audited, but compliance remains the employer’s responsibility. We recommend that your tax or payroll advisor reviews the configuration.
